Just as friends in the Bible lowered

their friend on a mat through the roof…

may I, too, take you to Jesus

to do what only He can do.

May I place you in front of Him,

praying for your healing,

may I step out in faith for you

caring, lifting, bringing…

No place too high,

no time to be shy,

just to get you to Jesus,

may that be my heart’s cry!

Breaking Chains

Falling away from grace

Sin and sadness my heart they overtake.

Doubt and fear fall all around

Blessing rain, but can’t be found.

Unspoken truths, hatred and lies

Unwritten words, death defied.

Rebirth and new light

Struggling, we begin to fight.

Firstly, humble ourselves we must,

Slowly beginning to gain trust.

Denouncing the world, embracing the word

Speaking and preaching to all what you’ve heard.

Rejoicing in your newfound faith

Thanking God that it’s never too late.

Fully repented, free from sin

This is where our Jesus bound journey begins.

Forgive the risen, above dismay

This my friends is why we pray
